About the artist

Devon has more than its fair share of arts and crafts people. This year one of them, Jenny Nash, is taking the brave step to open her studio doors for the first time as part of Devon Open Studios from September 6 to 21, giving visitors the opportunity to see her seascapes and landscapes, inspired by the coastlines of Devon and Somerset, local farmland and the Exmoor and Dartmoor national parks.

Jenny paints large seascapes that capture the sense of movement and power of the sea and smaller seascapes or landscapes reflecting the mood created by the quickly changing skies.

Jenny has successfully exhibited across Devon, including at:

• The Burton at Bideford Art Gallery & Museum’s Friends Annual Open Exhibition
• Tiverton Art Society’s Summer & Spring Exhibitions
