A fun project that is being organised by Liz Milton that you may want to take part in.

The project is a Postcard Art Exhibition in the aid of Culmstock Church.

Deatils from Liz:

We are holding a Postcard Art Exhibition in aid of Culmstock Church who
are reimagining the interior space to become more useful to the community.

We are asking artists, well-known people and artistic friends to draw or
paint something on a postcard. The cards will not be signed on the front,
only on the back, as they will be displayed anonymously. They will all be
for sale at the same price, at an evening event for invitees and the public.
Buyers will see a list of contributors, but must rely on their appreciation of
an image – or guesswork! – to buy it.

We should be very grateful if you could do a little something for us. If you
would like to include a short resumé of your background, that would also
be given to the buyer at the end of the evening. Many thanks in
anticipation!

The easiest way is for you to cut a postcard size piece of good quality paper of your choice (approximately 6 inches x 4). Anything is acceptable – drawing, painting, collage… If you can then bring them to the next meeting, Liz can collect them there for the exhibition.

Date: Friday 13th November – 5.30 to 8pm

Location: Culmstock Village Hall
