Congratulations to Julie Dunster!

We’re really pleased to share some fantastic news about artist and supporter of our art society, Julie Dunster, who has recently been elected as an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists.

It’s a wonderful achievement and a great recognition of Julie’s work. We’re always happy to celebrate the successes of artists associated with our society, and we couldn’t let this one pass without giving Julie a mention!

Julie has kindly sent us some information about the achievement and her journey as an artist, which you can read below.

I am thrilled to have been elected as an Associate Member of the highly prestigious Royal Society of Marine Artists.  Founded in 1939, and awarded Royal status in 1966, this society counts many of the UK’s leading marine artists as elected members and associates, whose work is eminently collectable. It is an honour to be elected by them to join their ranks.

Thank you for being here on my painting journey.

Best wishes
