About the artist

I am taking part as one of a group of artists from various specialisms at The White Room Creative Space in Crediton. Belinda Reynell is also taking part.

The open studios venue is open from 6th September 2025 to 21st September 2025 from 10am til 5pm daily with participating artists stewarding on a rota.

I describe myself primarily as a maker. I have mostly channelled the making into ceramics but for me it’s more about the making than the material used. So I have dabbled with various mediums. Initially trained in printed textile design, Ive worked in a theatre props department, a pottery and was a wig maker for many years before returning to study and specialising in ceramics. For the last few years I have explored papier mache – a material i feel that is much under rated!
