Our June members meeting was a very professional, entertaining and factual pastel demonstration by Lynda Kettle (https://www.lynda-kettle.com/)

Lynda has been a guest speaker/demonstrator with TAS before, when she demonstrated watercolour. So we knew we would be getting a very informative demonstration.

Lynda’s demonstrations are always very good, as she likes to complete the painting/drawing during the demonstration. So we got to see the process of creating a pastel landscape from start to finish.

As Lynda did the demonstration, she explained her process and why she was doing a particular method for the drawing. This was also sprinkled with anecdotes of previous demonstrations and Lynda’s past work history with the BBC and other art organisations.

Overall, a very entertaining and interesting evening.
