About the artist

I am an artist who loves to paint realistic, detailed landscapes in oils, drawing particular inspiration from the rivers and countryside near to my home village of Stoke Canon in the Exe Valley.  I came to painting by chance late in life, only some 7 years ago, and have no formal art training, never considering myself to be arty, but nonetheless with an appreciation of fine art landscape works.  Although largely self taught I have also learned many of my techniques and gained experience through the aid of an online art school. All my paintings are unique and original works of art and there are no prints of my artwork.
