TAS 2025 AGM – Round up

November’s monthly members’ meeting is the time for our AGM. It is always an informative evening, offering a good roundup of what the Society has achieved over the past 12 months. It is also an opportunity for members to raise questions about the Society’s direction.

Generally, the “official” part of the evening is quite short, and this year’s AGM went smoothly. You can find the minutes from the AGM here.

Once the official business was completed, members had a chance to grab a tea or coffee or, for the first time this year, a glass of wine. They then had time to chat and catch up.

Part of the AGM evening is also about having some fun, as TAS members vote for two awards: the Alan Rigby Award (for the best picture developed from sketches made during sketching days and holidays) and the TAS Apron Award (for artwork created during a TAS workshop).

This year’s Alan Rigby Award winner was Linda Chainey, and the TAS Apron Award was won by Jenny Nash. Congratulations to Linda and Jenny.
