Amy Jobes is a contemporary, self taught artist specialising in the seascapes and landscapes of her North Devon home. https://www.amyjobes.com/
She has learnt and practised her skills over four decades and her enthusiasm is inspiring. She paints in oils with a palette knife. She often paints en plein air or back in her studio. From her love of surfing and her observation skills, she is able to capture the mood of this subject. She is an excellent teacher and has lots of tips to pass on to those just starting out with oil paint. Suitable for beginners and those with more experience who wish to explore this style of painting.
