An invitation to artists

In 2027, Wiveliscombe Community Swimming Pool – affectionately known as Wivey Pool – celebrates
its 100th anniversary.

To mark this important milestone, Wivey Pool are inviting artists to submit an original piece of artwork that
captures the spirit, character and significance of Wivey Pool.

The selected artwork will be the first piece in a new permanent collection of art inspired by the pool and
its community. The collection will grow over the years, with an annual opportunity for artists to submit
work for consideration.

The first artwork will be unveiled on 1 January 2027 as part of Wivey Pool’s centenary celebrations and
will be permanently displayed in the new Pool House.
