About TAS
The Tiverton Art Society, affectionately referred to as “TAS,” is the ideal group for individuals seeking to connect with others who share a passion for art.
Both novice and professional artists will find something to suit their interests within our community.
TAS Top 10
- Monthly meetings with demonstrations and talks from local professional artists. Meet the artists, ask questions, see how they do what they do
- All skill levels are welcome, from total beginner to professional artists, we can all learn something from each other
- Weekday painting groups for all skill levels. Paint, chat and learn in a friendly group environment
- 5/6 Saturday full-day workshops a year, run by a professional artist. Open to all, whatever skill level you are at
- In our non-selection exhibitions, if you enter a work, it gets displayed. You prioritise your work, just in case we can‘t show it all due to lack of space
- Informal sketching days in the local area
- Meet like-minded people who have a passion for creating art
- All traditional media practised, including 3D and digital
- Opportunity for all members to exhibit works in TAS-related events, Tiverton Hospital and TivyHub
- £20 annual membership fee, additional reasonable costs for Saturday workshops and exhibitions
