About TAS

The Tiverton Art Society, affectionately referred to as “TAS,” is the ideal group for individuals seeking to connect with others who share a passion for art.

Both novice and professional artists will find something to suit their interests within our community.

TAS Top 10

  1. Monthly meetings with demonstrations and talks from local professional artists. Meet the artists, ask questions, see how they do what they do
  2. All skill levels are welcome, from total beginner to professional artists, we can all learn something from each other
  3. Weekday painting groups for all skill levels. Paint, chat and learn in a friendly group environment
  4. 5/6 Saturday full-day workshops a year, run by a professional artist. Open to all, whatever skill level you are at
  5. In our non-selection exhibitions, if you enter a work, it gets displayed. You prioritise your work, just in case we can‘t show it all due to lack of space
  6. Informal sketching days in the local area
  7. Meet like-minded people who have a passion for creating art
  8. All traditional media practised, including 3D and digital
  9. Opportunity for all members to exhibit works in TAS-related events, Tiverton Hospital and TivyHub
  10. £20 annual membership fee, additional reasonable costs for Saturday workshops and exhibitions
